Flathead Straight-Six with Roots Type Supercharger

Taking you back to you back a few decades, remember the old flathead six cylinder? Well some automotive enthusiast has decided to take the engine and slap a custom intake and roots-type supercharger with three carbs mounted on the engine. Try saying that three times fast, bit of a tongue twister isn't it? This is a special kind of stupefying excellence by an automotive enthusiast.

1934 Duesenberg Model JN at Auburn Fall Collector Car Auction

I have to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of the old classic cars, but that's not to say I don't have a fun time writing about them. The classic car you see in this picture is a 1934 Duesenberg Model JN Convertible Sedan, set to hit the car auction up at the inaugural Auburn Fall Collector Car Auction in September.

More than 1,000 vehicles will be auctioned off at the Auburn Auction Park, so this is one of many. I still admire the looks of the car, every time I look at these cars it reminds me of the movie Dick Tracy with Warren Beatty, a long time forgotten movie, but still one of my favorite B movies. I had a friend in grade school that was just addicted to the comic books.

Great Picture of the New and Old Shelby GT350 Mustang

This is just an awesome picture of the new and old Shelby GT350 Mustang. If I had a choice between the old and new GT350 Mustang, I would have to say I'd go with the new GT350 Mustang. The whole package is sweet, I love the big hood scoop, high polished rims, and the twin exhaust pipes out back. It's truly an amazing site to see!

1938 Talbot-Lago and 1929 Duesenberg Best in Car Show

These two classic cars are crowned the best car show in Meadow Brook concours, the 1938 Talbot-Lago and 1929 Duesenberg. The Talbot-Lago just glared in silver paint and chrome while the Duesenberg just looked great in general.

The classic car show was held at Meadow Brook on a sunny afternoon north of Detroit. “It's a piece of artwork,” said owner Bill Johnston said. “Some people have artwork on their wall--some people have the joy of driving.” I agree with Bill Johnston, sights like this make life worth living!
