Silver Remains top Car Color

Silver and black have been both the top colors competing over the past year, but later statistics showed that Silver is the top color of 2010. You can see the beautiful color on the 2010 Ford Mustang GT in the picture.

It's kind of funny because guess what colors I have on my 2002 Trans Am and my 2004 SVT Cobra Mustang? Well my Trans Am is silver and my Cobra Mustang is black. The two main popular colors of the year, if I had a choose between the two though I would have to go with black, it looks so sexy during daytime. Silver does look a little better at night though since you can see the curves of the car better. It's great to have both colors though, I wouldn't want two black colored cars.

Hurst Redline Series Camaro

Hurst has been making customized muscle car for a long time now, well they have done it again with the new 2011 Camaro model. Very close to the SS model Camaro, just like ever Hurst custom car, the Redline Series Camaro comes with a trademark Hurst interior and custom black/white paint job. The Redline Series Camaro will be limted to 50 vehicles and can be owned for around $55,000. Sure would be nice to own a piece of Camaro history in your garage, sure is a beautiful muscle car.

Hydrogen Powered Mercedes-Benz F-CELL

Most automotive enthusiasts though Hydrogen powered cars is dead, well Mercedes-Benz is showing us the automotive technology is still alived, and it could possibly take the automotive market by storm with the new Mercedes-Benz F-CELL. What makes this eco friendly car so unique is that it's an electric car that essentially makes its own power on board. Running on compressed hydrogen, and with water as the F-CELL’s only exhaust emission, the hydrogen and air react without combustion in the fuel cell, producing current to run the 136-horsepower, 214 lb-ft of torque electric motor. Mercedes-Benz claims the performance is very similar to 2.0 liter gas powered car, yet the F-CELL is equivalent to 54 miles per gallon and a range of 230 miles.

Green 2011 Porsche Cayman R

Porsche has just unveiled the new 2011 Porsche Cayman R with an incredible green paint job. For most sports car the last color I would want to see is the color green, but the new Cayman R where's it beautifully. New for the 2011 year is a shed of 120 pounds of the original body weight. Newly enhanced suspension with more rigid springs and there are customized anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles. When it comes to power, Porsche has decided to bump the horsepower up to 330hp. When the 2011 Porsche Cayman R hits the track, it will be able to go 62 miles per hour in less than five seconds and top out at 175 mph. Pretty incredible numbers for the 2,855-pound sports car, dealers will be asking a $66,000 price tag for the Cayman R, I think it's welly deserved!

Our buddy's over on Auto Blog found this great concept car up for sale on Ebay the other day, it's the Nissan 300ZX convertible concept car from 1991. For a car that is around 20 years old, it's still looks to be in great shape. There's only 8,202 miles on the odometer and the current owner is asking $62,000 on the Buy it Now price. If you love Nissan sports cars, this might be a fabulous investment for yourself.

Bill Caswell BMW Rally Race Car

Bill Caswell has took a BMW he bought from Craigslist and turned it into a bad ass rally race car. He payed only $500 for the BMW rally car, that's an incredible price for what the car looks like today. The Baja Bimmer has already passed inspection and ready to race in the Baja 1000. This is definitely going to be one of the biggest oddities in the race, but I do remember seeing a Porsche competing.

GMC Granite CPU Concept

Checkout GM's new version of a futuristic El Camino. This is a shrunken version of the GMC Granite concept, hence the name "CPU." Now one has seen this new vehicle until now, it has an expandable bed that is around six feet long. The Granite CPU has taillights built right into the gates. And if you're a lumber hauler or surfer, on top is a roll bar that pops up to carry such things as lumber or a surf board. This sure is a neat idea by GM, will they actually come out with it though?

Picture of the new 2011 Dodge Challenger SE

I'll tell you what, that "Hemi Orange" color on the new 2011 Dodge Challenger SE is sick! One of the most stunning colors I have ever seen on a muscle car. Over on the GM side, they call this color sunset orange. I remember how great it look on the LS1 WS.6 Trans Ams. I've never seen it with racing stripes down the middle though, I'm quite pleased with the custom paint job. Also new for the 2011 year is these five spoke high polished wheels. The custom wheels are sporting both black powder coat job and a finely high polished aluminum look. And the great thing now is the 3.6 liter V6 engine on the Challenger SE is making 305 horsepower, compared to last years 250 horsepower. Big boost in horsepower to compete with the other V6 big dogs: V6 Camaro and V6 Mustang. I think the Mustang V6 version still has the other two beat!
