Scion XB Limo at SEMA Show

I've always been a big fan of the SEMA show, it's a lot more thrilling then the North American Auto Show. Why you might ask? Well because of all the oddities you might see, there's so many cool different custom cars to look at. They give you good ideas for customizing your own car. For instance this Scion car has been turned into a limo. While I'm pretty sure you're not going to go out in your garage and turn your car into a limo, still the custom rims on the sweet ride may be to your liking. Or maybe the two tone paint job, the red and black really look great on the Scion xB limo. Expect to see this custom ride at the 2010 SEMA show.

2011 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid

Not to long before the 2011 Porsche Cayenne S hybrid car will be hitting US dealers this November. The hybrid SUV is to carry a $21k premium over the base model V6 Cayenne. But for $67,700 you'll have a supercharged 333 horsepower V6 engine and the battery option. Under the blown six the Cayenne will be able to go 0-60mph in 6.1 seconds, on the battery you'll have a max speed of 37mph with instant torque power. This new Cayenne is making Porsche history next November, I'm sure Porsche fans are pretty excited.

James Bond Aston Martin sells for $4.6 Million

Wow, the classic car from the James Bond films Goldfinger and Thunderball just sold for 4.5 million dollars. The driver mostly known for being behind the wheel was iconic film star Sean Connery, aka James Bond. Both Connery and the 1964 Aston Martin went well together, I think director Guy Hamilton couldn't of picked a better car. Believe it or not, estimators expected to the Astom Martin to sell for more than $5 million. This is one of two DB5s used in the movie, the other one was stolen, making this Aston Martin super rare.

Joe Bortz Restoring of the 1955 LaSalle Roadster

Well after unveiling his restored 1955 Chevy Biscayne, Joe Bortz is moving onto another car, his next move is to restore a 1955 LaSalle Roadster. The car was originally Motors Motorama concept car, but the key difference is he's going to be making an all electric LaSalle. It's not like the LaSalle ever had an engine to begin with, the classic car was pushed out on the stage. I really can't wait to see the final product, Joe Bortz always does some amazing work.

Custom Mustangs at 2010 SEMA Show

Ford is planning on bringing nine totally customized Mustang to the SEMA show this year. There will be a Mobsteel Mustang created for the mobster movie fans, that will be sporting a STS turbocharger. And then there will be a Creations 'n Chrome Mustang GT that will sporting a pink bait job and body kit. Out of the nice custom Mustangs being show, chances are you'll find one Ford Mustang that you'll like. Each Mustang will have the new 5.0L V8 underneath the hood!

Happy Car Halloween

I wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween from Aftermarket Car Parts blog. I found this neat picture of James Cameron's Alien clawing out of a car. This has to be the coolest dressed up car I have ever seen, it must of took hours of decorating to get it right. I'm not quite sure what kind of car it is, it's either a PT Cruiser or some foreign car. I first thought it was a Porsche because the way the headlights are sticking up, but after looking at the front bumper and how tall this car sits, it's obviously not a Porsche.

2011 Mustang GT 5.0L V8 runs 8s in 1/4 Mile

If you thought the 11 second second pass on just slicks and a custom tune was impressive, well Evolution Performance takes the new 5.0L V8 to new heights with a 8 second pass in the 1/4 mile. Anyone who's made fun of the Mustang in the past are eating those words right about now. Personally, I've always had a love for all muscle cars, no matter what company! I guess that's why I have a car from all three American car companies in my driveway: Dodge Durango, SVT Cobra Mustang, and Pontiac Trans AM.

I can't stand the car enthusiasts that stand for one particular car and hate the rest, those people are just tools!!! And if you do a lot of researching on car forums, the automotive world is just filled with them. GM fans hating on Ford fans, Ford fans hating on Mopar fans, so on and so on! I guess you can call is carcism! And we all wonder how slavery came to be, it's just amazing how we can't get along with each other. A lot of people will say don't mix politics with the car hobby, well it's hard not to when you see all the hatred going on! I just laugh in the face of all the GM fans out there that rant and rave about their LS1 Fbodies!

This Mustang is just sick! Sounds like a fighter jet going by!

Evolution Performance 8 Second 2011 Mustang

Evolution Performance just raised the bar with the new 5.0L V8 in the 2011 Mustang. They were able to take a the 2011 Mustang and do a 8 second pass at the drag strip. If you know anything about drag racing, this is very uncommon thing to do with an engine coming from a production car. Most engines would just fall apart when you tried to get them to go sub 9s, goes to show the new 5.0L V8 has lived up to its name. To achieve the 8 second pass in the 1/4 mile, Evolution Performance used a ProCharger supercharger running 24 pounds of boost. The official time was 8.89 @ 148 mph, amazingly impressive!

Ferrari 288 GTO Evo Ventilation

One of the sexiest rear ends I ever seen is surprisingly not from a muscle car. This rear end belongs to a Ferrari 288 GTO Evo, the ventilation on the Ferrari is sick! It quickly became one of the most popular super cars of the 80s. It's hard to imagine this car came out back in 1987, the sports car was way ahead of it's prime. This is one of five 288 GTO Evoluzione models. The super car made 650 horsepower to the rear wheels and the top speed was 225mph.

Dukes Of Hazzard Dodge Charger Jessica Simpson Wallpaper

One of the hottest wallpapers to have on your computer, hottie Jessica Simpson posing next the the 1969 General Lee Dodge Charger. The 1969 Dodge Charger is one of the most inspirational cars in muscle car history, the Charger spawned millions of Dodge Charger enthusiasts across the world. I always see at least one or two of these General Lee replicas as the Woodward Dream Cruise each year.
