Tata Motors Nano from India

If you're looking for a cheap economy car less than $5k, look no further than Tata Motors $3,000 dollar Nano. Some automotive enthusiasts have nicknamed the car Nano Bites to be funny. The tiny little car gets 52mpg, but it's pretty much a tin can. There are no air bags and no air conditioning. It's the perfect car for India, yes! But would it be able to survive our roads such as traffic jams and road rage? The car can only reach a top speed of 62mph too. So far I'm not really impressed, first I would like to say "I would like to stay alive" and "I like to be able to drive on highways." I would also like to see how well the Nano performs in car crashes. Does the car fold up like an accordion or will it be able to withstand a blast like a dump truck. I've heard the Smart car uses forged metal to help withstand crashes, I wonder what type of metal this little car uses.
